Speaking from his heart and off the cuff as he is now known for, former Minister Alain St.Ange retraced the era when, together with Minister Elvis Mutiri wa Bushara, they worked for tourism for their respective countries and for increasing the tourism traffic flow into Africa. “We both knew that Africa had all the key USPs needed but we also knew that Africa needed visibility to remain relevant in the world of tourism. With our other dedicated colleagues from the continent, we pushed hard, but more, so much more needs to be done”. said Alain St.Ange. He went on to congratulate RDC for seeing a book published by Europe that showcases their tourism opportunities and in so doing opening the door for Africa. Former Minister St.Ange reiterated that tourism was the industry that needed to be embraced, because it could and would, put money in the pockets of  each and every African. Especially when tourism is developed using culture, and putting people at the centre of development of the country.

When they took to the floor, Mohamed Taoufiq El Hajji and Cristina Marcu representing the publishers of the book, retraced how they worked with former Minister Elvis Mutiri wa Bashara, and how this book would be the strong link in the country’s evolution its economic growth and RDC’s social and intercultural evolution, before presenting to the former Minister and author of the book with a Diploma as an Author.
