The Brussels Creative Forum (BCF) inaugurated the Brussels cultural season of 14-15 in the heart of the Mont des Arts, a few footsteps from the historical center and nearby some of the most important cultural institutions. On August 29 and 30, this annual forum will gather the different creative and cultural actors of Brussels and present the whole offer of their programs and activities. The public will be able to discover the event and cultural offer, and the professionals will gather to meet and discuss their future in Belgium and within Europe.

With more than 20,000 events per year, the creative, artistic, and cultural activity is most impressive. The BCF will guide and mirror this event during two days during the end of the holiday season. At the Mont des Arts and within Square Brussels Meeting Center a Culture Market, a Street Art Village, and a series of professional meetings will take place.

In the Culture Market, numerous cultural organizations, both French/Flemish speaking and international, will present their 14-15 Season. A stage will be open to artists, musicians, comedians, and dancers, for them to present extracts of creations/shows to come. These tasters will motivate spectators to go to see and enjoy the whole creations/shows during the cultural season.

The Mont des Arts will host the Street Art Village where urban art will stage the scene with many associations active in music, dance, graffiti, installations, design, and circus. Nearby, the Street Food Festival will bring together, once more, the various food projects of the now famous food trucks.

The younger ones will be also initiated to culture thanks to the Kids Village that will take place on Saturday, August 30, and organized by Kidsgazette in collaboration with VISITBRUSSELS and other cultural partners. The kids will be able to test their creativity and cultural aptitudes while their parents will browse through the impressive cultural offer of the 14-15 Season.

Finally, the BRUSSELS CREATIVE FORUM will be an important gathering for the professionals. Debates, conferences and meetings will be the aim to discuss the future goals to achieve and good practices.

The BRUSSELS CREATIVE FORUM is an initiative of BAPEO (Brussels Association for Public Events Operators) co-founded with VISITBRUSSELS, SQUARE Brussels Meeting Centre, Prométhéa, the Foundation for the Arts and Architempo.
