Turkey’s share in the global tourism industry continues to rise as visitors from across the world flock to the country’s abundant tourist attractions, from historical landmarks to the enriching cultural landscape, and nature tourism, all so famously fusing both Eastern and Western cultures.

The country continues to attract increasing numbers of Arab tourists, especially from Saudi Arabia, and in the first eight months of this year the country witnessed a 37 percent increase in inbound passengers from the Kingdom compared to the same period in 2012.

As the national carrier of Turkey, Turkish Airlines has played a pivotal role in this growth with its seven-city network in Saudi Arabia connecting travelers from the Kingdom to more countries than any other airline. The global carrier continues to sustain the momentum as one of the world’s fastest growing airlines, recording a 16 percent increase in passenger traffic in the first 7 months of this year from Saudi Arabia.

In the milestone year of its 80th anniversary, Turkish Airlines also celebrates being awarded as ‘Europe’s Best Airline’ for the third consecutive year and passengers can experience incredible ‘Best Business Class Catering,’ another accolade scooped at the 2013 Skytrax awards.

Murat Bas, Vice President Marketing & Sales for Turkish Airlines in Middle East & Cyprus, said: “This year we have launched a number of travel campaigns to celebrate our new destinations in Europe that provide our passengers with the award-winning on-board service from Saudi Arabia. In addition to enjoying the 239 destinations we connect to across 104 countries, travelers can book promotional fares to cities including London, Geneva and Paris over the winter season.”

The current Europe campaign also offers promotional fares to new destinations including Santiago De Compostela in Spain, Salzburg in Austria and Valetta in Malta. Promotional airfares can be booked until November 20, 2013, for travel to and from 20 European cities between November 1, 2013 and March 31, 2014.

To take advantage of the limited offers, travelers can book and view flight schedules through the website www.turkishairlines.com or visit any Turkish Airlines sales office.
