MEXICO CITY, Mexico – Aeromexico announced that almost five years after it started to serve the Mexico City – Caracas route, it has decided to suspend its flights indefinitely, due to the complicated economic situation prevailing in Venezuela.


Aeromexico operates a major route network between Mexico and Central and South America, so the carrier will continue working to provide customers with more options, and assess the possibility of going back to the Caracas market in the future.

Customers holding tickets for flights to Caracas with Aeromexico before today may call the Grupo Aeromexico Call Center for a refund.
