Many international diplomats acclaimed the Saudi Colors Forum, describing it as a window to the kingdom’s topographical variety.
This came in the context of the celebration launched at the forum, which is held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdul-Aziz, the Saudi Comission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA) President, in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohiuddin Khoja, Minister of Culture and Information. The event is organized by SCTA in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and Information and the Saudi Arabian Society for Culture and Arts.
The diplomats considered the forum’s photography exhibition a perfect reflection of the tourism in the kingdom and the richness of its heritage, hoping for the expansion of the exhibition to include photography works from all over the world to move from the local to the international character, and become a meeting event for overseas photographers.

To commence with, Sheikh Thamer Ahmed El-Subah, Kuwaiti Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, praised the event organizers “for their great efforts in providing dramatic and significant presentations bespeaking the varying geographical nature of the kingdom and its mega diverse tourist destinations.”
He added: “Tourism is no longer a luxury, as it came to play a key role in economic and social growth and participate in developing many tourism-related industries and services. The exhibition’s displays show kingdom’s multi-faceted tourism, launching it to the forefront of tourism market competitiveness.”

For his part, Professor Datok Said Omar, Malaysian Ambassador, regarded the forum’s exhibition a perfect representation of Saudi tourism, pointing out that he visited several areas around the kingdom, but the exhibition’s displays got him introduced to the kingdom’s natural beauty and geographical variety.
He expressed his admiration for the profuse cultural heritage of the kingdom, expecting continual success of the forum, which will garner international fame to the event and it will become a meeting place for photographers from every corner of the world to exchange professional experiences.

In the same context, Abdul-Hafez Ibrahim, Sudanese Ambassador, asserted that the forum and its exhibition mirrored SCTA’s fruitful efforts that crowned the kingdom’s tourism diversity.
Thanks to its attractive mixed features and the exhibition’s arresting displays, which underlie the kingdom’s marvelously multifarious geographical nature that suits the aspirations of its visitors. He added that the kingdom has plenty of tourist attractions and truly deserves to one among the leading tourist destinations in the region.

The Korean Ambassador Kim Jong-Yong opined that Saudi Colors Forum and its exhibition could effectively get the world acquainted with Saudi tourism and asked the event’s organizers to internationalize the participation in the forum’s contest to create an opportunity to bridge the world’s cultural gaps and help promote communication and interaction among the people of the world.
He continued that the likes of this forum came to be one of the main tourist advertising factors, as all the displays of the forum’s exhibition show the best of Saudi Arabia’s tourism hotspots, consequently inviting tourists to visit its tourist treasures.
Saudi Colors Forum is the first event of its kind held in the kingdom to be dedicated for photography art and express SCTA’s conviction of the essential role of photography art in marketing Saudi tourism attractions and products.
