A Christmas tree with a difference

The EU – SWITCH Asia Greening Sri Lanka Hotels Project, came up with a novel idea to build a Christmas tree out of discarded water bottles.

The entire decoration is all made of plastic bottles, including the base which is an 18-liter
water bottle. The bottles are mounted on a steel frame.

The tree can be seen at the Greening Sri Lanka Hotels Project office at the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce Solutions at Nawam Mawatha.
