The hotel, which is part of the Emaar Hospitality Group’s Address Hotels and Resorts brand, has long been one of the emirate’s most popular options for travellers, but it hasn’t been fully operational since New Year’s Eve 2016 when an electrical short circuit set the 63-story tower ablaze, leaving 15 people injured.

Many comments on Tripadvisor echo this evaluation, but there is repeat criticism of the reception staff being difficult.
