British Airways upgrades aircraft on London-Washington DC route

Beginning next year, British Airways will be upgrading its aircraft used on the route between London and Washington DC.

For this second half of its winter schedule, which runs from January 1 to March 24, 2018, the airline will be switching from a Boeing 747-400 to a Boeing 787-9 on 1 of its 2 daily flights that run between Heathrow and Dulles airports.

London Heathrow is one of the busiest airports in the world during the winter season with 74,989,795 passengers passing through this hub.
