Venezuelan carrier to use Airbus A340-300 on Miami route

BARCELONA, Venezuela – Avior Airlines, an airline based in Barcelona, Venezuela, announces that it is planning to use Airbus A340-300 aircraft on Barcelona (Venezuela) – Miami route.

BARCELONA, Venezuela – Avior Airlines, an airline based in Barcelona, Venezuela, announces that it is planning to use Airbus A340-300 aircraft on Barcelona (Venezuela) – Miami route. The A340-300 will operate this route 5 times a week starting December 6, 2016.


The airline currently advertises A340 schedule on its website until January 30, 2017. The carrier has submitted application to the US Department of Transportation, seeking permission to switch Barcelona-Miami service to Caracas – Miami service, as the runway at Barcelona airport cannot accommodate A340 operation.
