BRUSSELS, Belgium – As part of its free exhibition, “Experience Brussels!” is putting on an interactive kids’ event for two months over the summer, aimed at children aged between 7 and 12. The goal is to introduce them to every aspect of Europe’s capital through fun games, puzzles, interactive activities and challenges.

Located above the tourist information office in the Place Royale, the “Experience Brussels!” exhibition is the largest free exhibition on Brussels. This summer, visit.brussels has put together a special event here that children will absolutely love.

After the kids have spent just under two hours exploring everything on offer, Brussels will have no secrets left from these budding explorers. Armed with their very important activity book, they can have fun while they learn about Brussels’ geography, its inhabitants and its birds, as well as about Europe and the history, legends and etymology of a number of different places. They will also be given the opportunity to build a pretty budgie, make an origami iris, recreate their own flag and choose another name for Brussels.

Last but by no means least, the unique experience and its original, varied activities will reveal the mystery word, and they’ll be able to go away with a well-deserved little reward.

Free entry + 1 Euro per child for the activity book. The event will run from 1 July until 31 August 2016 and is available in French, Dutch and English.
