MOSCOW, Russia – On August 17, Russia’s President Vladimir Putin will hold a session of the presidium of the State Council on the advancement of tourism in the Russian Federation.

MOSCOW, Russia – On August 17, Russia’s President Vladimir Putin will hold a session of the presidium of the State Council on the advancement of tourism in the Russian Federation. The event will take place in Yalta in annexed Crimea.

“The agenda of the event will be topped by priority directions of the development of domestic tourism as a catalyst of the social and economic development of Russian regions, Crimea, in particular,” a report of the presidential press service says.

Putin is planning to have an informal meeting with representatives of ethnic public associations of Crimea.
