The French magazine for tourism professionals – Tour Hebdo – has come out with an article that lists the objectives of the Seychelles Tourism Board.

The French magazine for tourism professionals – Tour Hebdo – has come out with an article that lists the objectives of the Seychelles Tourism Board. Tour Hebdo highlights that the Seychelles is now set on developing its niche markets.

It its article on the Creole tropical islands, it quotes Alain St.Ange, the CEO of the Seychelles Tourism Board, as saying: “Yes, the Seychelles positions itself as the idyllic destination, with beaches considered amongst the best in the world, but we must emphasize that we are developing our niche markets such as sailing, scuba diving, and snorkeling, the island-hopping holidays which enables us to showcase our diversity as we continue to preserve our environment for the well being of our people and for our country. Among the latest developments, we need to highlight the very popular and successful Seychelles Carnaval International de Victoria, which will again take place from March 2-4, 2012 in Victoria.”

Tour Hebdo accompanied the article of the Seychelles with a picture of Alain St.Ange alongside Bernadette Willemin, the Seychelles Tourism European Director.
