Frans Willem Cox new hotel representative on Board of Maastricht Convention Bureau

Frans Willem Cox, Director of Hotel Van der Valk in Maastricht, has joined the Board of the Maastricht Convention Bureau.

Frans Willem Cox, Director of Hotel Van der Valk in Maastricht, has joined the Board of the Maastricht Convention Bureau. The Maastricht Convention Bureau is a foundation which promotes Maastricht and the surrounding area as a destination for conventions and corporate meetings. Partners of the foundation are: MECC Maastricht, Maastricht Tourist Board, hotels, and supporting companies (service suppliers). On the Maastricht Convention Bureau Board, Frans Willem Cox will represent hotels.

Frans Willem Cox is looking forward to his role as a Board member. “As a board member, I can be even more active and valuable for the Maastricht Convention Bureau. This way we can successfully achieve the objectives together. As a representative of the hotels, I want to accomplish, together, that there will be even more business meetings in Maastricht and the region in the future.

Collaboration is the keyword of the Maastricht Convention Bureau. I am looking forward to being the go-between for the participants and the Board of the Maastricht Convention Bureau.”

Next to Cox, members of the Board of the Maastricht Convention Bureau are: Mr. R. Stevens (Independent Chairman), Mr. E. Broekaart (for MECC Maastricht), Mr. N. Bos (for the Maastricht Tourist Board), and Mrs. S. Pauwels (for the supporting companies).

The Maastricht Convention Bureau promotes Maastricht and the region as destination for conventions and corporate meetings, in the Netherlands as well as abroad. Therefore, they provide free, independent information, advice, and mediation to planners and organizers of such meetings.

Maastricht Convention Bureau is a member of the International Council of Tourism Partners (ICTP), a fast-growing grassroots travel and tourism coalition of global destinations committed to quality service and green growth.
