The first nonstop service, which will operate twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays, will launch on 29 November from Rome to Havana. The route will be served with Boeing 777-200ER aircraft.

According to Alitalia CEO Cramer Ball, Cuba service is a confirmation of Alitalia’s strategy to build the network of intercontinental flights to give Italians greater opportunities to travel further afield for both leisure and business.
