More choices for East Africans traveling to the UK

The United Kingdom remains at the top of the list of countries visited by travelers from Eastern Africa.

Ever ready to meet market demands, Qatar Airways has launched daily flights between Doha and Birmingham, the fourth destination in Britain for the airline.

A Boeing B787 Dreamliner is the aircraft Qatar Airways has deployed on the latest new route, with eight weekly flights: two departures on Saturday, bringing the total number of services to the UK to 73, and with London’s Heathrow leading with 42 weekly flights or six daily services out of Doha.

Travelers from Qatar Airways’ East Africa destinations Entebbe, Kigali, Nairobi, Kilimanjaro, Dar es Salaam and Zanzibar, with final destination Birmingham, now have another travel option
