The winning project for Jetwing Travels, The Island Diaries compiled by the Jetwing Travels Marketing Communications Team and produced internally, is a key tool used to effectively communicate with all its customers; both direct clients as well as agents worldwide.

The name “Island Diaries” symbolizes a Sri Lankan travel journal or a personal travel diary seeking to be both informative as well as interesting in delivering its message. What’s striking about “Island Diaries” is the way the newsletter has been able to foster such deep and loyal readership.

The layout expertly and creatively constructed around the concept of travel experiences including a personally-written introduction from the Managing Director of Jetwing Travels, Ms. Shiromal Cooray, is innovative in design and creative in presentation.

“We are very proud to see such a deserving brand win such accolades. As the only Sri Lankan Destination Management Company and as well as the only Sri Lankan company to receive an award from PATA for 2017 we are indeed honored and pleased to bring recognition to both Jetwing and Sri Lanka and this will inspire us to further continue our efforts,” said Ishanth Gunewardene, Head of Marketing for Jetwing Travels.
