A gunman reportedly dressed in a UPS uniform has shot multiple people at the parcel service’s building in San Francisco, California. Local media report that five people were shot, and two died.
Four people were injured in the shooting, UPS spokesman Steve Gaut told AP. He confirmed that the shooter was an employee, who “turned the gun on himself,” but did not have any other information about his condition.
Police has evacuated UPS employees from the building, located on San Bruno Avenue in the Potrero Hill neighborhood. San Francisco police declared the building secure around 10:30 am local time.
The SF General Hospital received a total of three patients, according to local media reports.
At least five people were shot, and two were “medical examiner cases,” KNTV reported. It was not clear whether that meant they were deceased.
KNTV later reported that two people died at the scene and two more at the hospital, including the shooter. There has been no official information from the authorities.
