Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, located on the shores of the Eastern Mediterranean, is a partially polluted environment with widespread corruption papers, but on the flipside, the city can satisfy any vibrant party goers’ yearning for trendy festivals as well as job seekers looking to nail down a travel and tourism career at a job fair.

The Lebanon Career Expo 2016 which was held on April 12 and 13 by educational events company EDUCITY, added in its recruitment a uniqueness to tourism and travel and the connectedness and inclusiveness of seeking and hiring qualified human resources.

On April 23, the day Leonardo da Vinci was born, DJs Marco and Adrian from the Space Ibiza club will play at the Raouche Sporting Club, and the Adana Twins from Hamburg will be perform at The Grand Factory.

Coming the following month on May 1, a myriad of Middle Eastern tourists, especially from Egypt as well as Greece and Eastern Europe, will inundate destination Lebanon. This will be another opportunity to propose local hospitality in an innovative spirit and provide a spring show for gourmet and leisure lovers.

A few days later, DVS 1 from Minneapolis, also known as Zak Khutoretsky, an American DJ and techno producer, will entertain fans at the BO18 nightclub on May 6.

On a more serious note, on May 8, Beirut Madinati, a volunteer-led campaign will push to elect a municipal council of qualified and politically-unaffiliated individuals. This group support the creation of a Convention and Visitors Bureau, which will of course support tourism in the city.
