IAEE announces new chapter in India

DALLAS, TX – The International Association of Exhibitions and Events™ (IAEE) announces the addition of its latest chapter in Asia, the IAEE India Chapter.

DALLAS, TX – The International Association of Exhibitions and Events™ (IAEE) announces the addition of its latest chapter in Asia, the IAEE India Chapter. The IAEE Board of Directors approved the creation of this new chapter during its meeting held 31 March 2016 at the HITEX Exhibition Center in Hyderabad, India.

“This is another important step forward in the internationalization of IAEE,” said IAEE President & CEO David DuBois, CMP, CAE, FASAE, CTA. “We have been met this week with great enthusiasm about our member benefits and CEM Learning Program, and it is very rewarding to see the expansion of our global impact.”


In addition, IAEE’s CEM Learning Program added 30 graduates from India as certified in exhibition management professionals. Launched in October of 2015 as part of its agreement with the Indian Exhibition Industry Association (IEIA) , final classes were taught this week by 2016 IAEE Chairperson Julia Smith, CEM, CTA, Senior Vice President of National Sales at Global Experience Specialists (GES) and IAEE Board Member Bob McLean, CPA, Executive Vice President, Promotional Products Association International (PPAI).
