An engine fire stopped as an Allegiant flight was about to take off from McCarran airport in Las Vegas Sunday afternoon from McCarran International Airport.
Around 1:20 p.m., Flight 516 was departing to Fresno, California, when officials reported a right engine fire while on the ground.
No injuries were reported. Passengers were expected to be bused to the terminal for another flight.
