Vietjet: Hai Phong to Seoul and Bangkok

Vietjet recently revealed its operational plans to launch two new international routes departing from Hai Phong to Seoul in Korea and Bangkok in Thailand respectively.

Vietjet recently revealed its operational plans to launch two new international routes departing from Hai Phong to Seoul in Korea and Bangkok in Thailand respectively. The new destinations will increase the number of routes which is operated by Vietjet from Cat Bi airport to a total of 9 routes.

The announcement was made by Vietjetโ€™s Chairwoman, Nguyen Thanh Ha and witnessed by His Excellency Nguyen Xuan Phuc โ€“ Vietnamese Prime Minister, leaders of Hai Phong City and authorities from the Ministry of Transport and other government agencies at the Hai Phong Investment Promotion Conference.


Speaking at the signing, Vietjetโ€™s Chairwoman Nguyen Thanh Ha said, โ€œThanks to its strategic geographic location at the socio-economic center of the North-Eastern region in Vietnam, Hai Phong City enjoys many positive conditions to develop its tourism sector, especially with goods and services which are oriented to cater to international tourists.



โ€œWith our continuously expanding network, we do believe that the new international routes will not only assist Hai Phong residents and tourists in their travel plans to international destinations with safe, modern and civilized air services but also boost trade and economic exchange among Hai Phong and its partners, as well as contribute to local residentsโ€™ foreign investment growthโ€, added Ha.
The Hai Phong City โ€“ Seoul route will begin operation on 12 December 2016 with flights operating every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday with a flying time of around five hours per leg.
