Costa Rica’s Ecolodge Hotel Belmar announced that it extends an invitation to artists from around the globe to immerse themselves in the Monteverde Cloud Forest for a period of up to three weeks this March. The Artist Residency Program, which operates four times annually, offers participating artists accommodation and meals, along with a stipend in certain cases based on financial circumstances.
This program is accessible to both Costa Rican and international artists working in various mediums. The carbon-neutral boutique hotel aims to foster and enhance the creative journeys of artists. Established in 2019, the initiative not only benefits the artists but also enriches the experiences of hotel guests, staff, and the surrounding community. It adds cultural depth to the travel experience, allowing guests to gain a greater appreciation for Monteverde as a travel destination.
