United has announced its intention to resume service between New York/Newark and Tel Aviv starting on March 15, with plans for a second daily flight to commence on March 29. This decision comes after a thorough evaluation of operational factors in the region and collaborative efforts with the unions representing our flight attendants and pilots. The flights will be conducted using Boeing 787-10 aircraft.
United Airlines’ relaunch of Tel Aviv air service will position it as the first US air carrier to recommence flights this year. Additionally, United provides connections to Tel Aviv through its partners, including airlines within the Lufthansa Group. The airline will continue to assess the potential for adding more flights in response to demand.
