UNIGLOBE is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Geyssens as Regional President, UNIGLOBE Travel (Belux). Geyssens is joining UNIGLOBE after a 20-year career as Sales and Distribution Manager at SNCB Europe.
Geyssens has ample experience managing the business activities are large scale companies, including Telindus Group. Geyssens successfully led the merger of Transcontinental, Transintra and Intercontinental. In 1998, The National Belgium Rail brought Geyssens in to fine-tune the distribution of high-speed travel. During his time at SNCB Europe Geyssens oversaw the entire distribution of several international rail providers. Geyssens has been a thought leader in the industry and has been featured in publications such as Travel in The World, Groups, and RailXtra.
As of November 20, Geyssens will be based out of Mechelen, Belgium as the Regional President of UNIGLOBE Travel (Belux). His aim is to drive the operational and technological excellence of all 15 UNIGLOBE Travel business centers in the Belgium-Luxembourg region.
