The discovery of an archaeological marvel off the coast of El Alamein has been announced by the Ministry of Tourism & Antiquities of Egypt.
This underwater marvel encompasses the remains of a submerged vessel and a multitude of pottery objects. Notably, a substantial collection of amphorae, originally employed for the preservation and shipment of wine, has been identified among the artifacts. A considerable portion of these amphorae is believed to have originated from the Greek island of Rhodes.
