The Thello between Italy and France will coordinate with that of the Arrows Trenitalia extending the network of Italian cities linked with Dijon and Paris.

From December 15, 2013, with the launch of the new Trenitalia Railway timetable 2014 edition, Milan will turn into a sort of hub for Trenitalia, where customers from France will find comfortable, convenient, and fast travel solutions for all major Italian cities, from Bologna to Turin, from Florence to Rome, and from Naples to Salerno. And for customers bound for France, upon arrival in Milan with the Arrows, they will find a Thello service originating from Venice, enhanced with a number of cars and equipped with beds and additional sleeping cabins that will increase the availability of services more acceptable to customers.

The integration of Thello

Trenitalia Frecce Thello allows customers to travel on the Arrows at particularly favorable prices and reduce up to an hour in the actual travel time between Paris and Rome and between Paris and Florence, routes now covered by Thello Rome – Paris , as well as to reach or depart from any other city served by Frecciarossa and Frecciabianca calling in Milan.

The French capital will then be linked more effectively with all cities in Italy, thanks to the ubiquity of network Arrows: from the Tyrrhenian coast from Genoa to Reggio Calabria to the resorts of the Adriatic, and from Rimini to Bari and Lecce, and always at exclusive prices for Thello customers.

The new tariff being created will be immediately available at all points of sale in Italy and will be sold progressively throughout the sales network of Thello and Trenitalia.

Thello is also considering the possibility of increasing in the coming months the daily connections between Milan and France, with a particular focus on the French Riviera.

The Thello offer between Italy and France will coordinate with that of Frecce, extending the network from Italian cities connected with Paris.

Furthermore, the company is also confident of its capability to acquire its own certificate of security on the Italian network in 2014, becoming one of the first European railway companies to independently manage the entire production process on international routes.
