SOTIC is currently taking place in the Cayman Islands – and it’s the place to be for movers and shakers leading Caribbean Tourism. The organization will be under Barbado’s leadership for the next 2 years.

Tonight the Hon. Kenneth Bryan, Minister of Tourism for the Cayman Islands and outgoing Chair for the Caribbean Tourism Organization announced the election of the Hon. Ian Gooding-Edghill, the Minister of Tourism for Barbados to take over the CTO Chairmanship.

This was the highlight during the spectacular SOTIC dinner party in the sand, arranged for CTO delegates at the 7-mile beach in front of the Westin Hotel, that is hosting the event.

The party had little speeches, great networking, and was a lot of fun. It ended with fire dances, fireworks, and homegrown music by the Cayman Kitchen Band.
