The Innovation Truck boasts MirrorEye, the leading camera monitor system, which eradicates potential blind spots around the truck and trailer for improved visibility. The connected trailer system of the truck is intelligent, high-definition cameras, ultrasonic sensors, and cargo monitoring that gives real-time information to drivers about conditions in trailers and cargos.
Stoneridge’s advanced cockpit displays include adaptive views for maximum visibility, and additional exterior camera wings add safety features such as turn signals and courtesy lights. Infrared illuminators also improve visibility during dark docking.
As Zizelman says, the Innovation Truck sets new standards for road safety and efficiency. These enhancements “will help drivers reduce stress and workload in heavy maneuvering situations,” the Chief Technology Officer at Stoneridge, Troy Cooprider said, directly pointing toward adding both efficiency and peace of mind for drivers.
