The recent study utilized Google Keyword Planner to determine the most desired city for Hawaiians to tie the knot, with Las Vegas emerging as the top choice.

Researchers analyzed 776 of the most populous cities in the United States, cross-referencing them with 17 search terms associated with marriage, including ‘wedding venues [city]’, ‘marriage license [city]’, and ‘how to get married in [city]’, to identify the most frequently searched location.

Las Vegas, NV, is the top choice for couples in Hawaii who wish to tie the knot, with a total of 165 Google searches conducted each month.

Coming in second is San Diego, CA, which is highly sought after for weddings by Hawaiians, with an average of 64 monthly Google searches.

New York City, NY, secures the third spot as the city of choice for Hawaiian couples looking to get married, with an average of 51 monthly Google searches.

Seattle, WA ranked fourth as the destination Hawaiian couples most want to get married in, with 41 monthly Google searches on average.

Los Angeles, CA, is the fifth most in-demand city for getting married for Hawaii residents, with 38 Google searches per month.

Houston, TX secures the third spot on the list, with an average of 17,357 monthly Google searches from individuals eager to get married in the city. The most commonly searched term associated with Houston is ‘Houston wedding venues’, drawing in an average of 10,858 searches per month.
