Qatar Airways Group and the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) have entered into a worldwide collaboration that aims to revolutionize the fan experience during Asian football tournaments in the upcoming years.
The partnership is set to last from 2023 until 2029, coinciding with the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023TM starting on January 12th. It encompasses various important events, including the AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027TM, AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2026TM, AFC U23 Asian CupTM Qatar 2024, AFC Futsal Asian CupTM 2024, 2026, and 2028, as well as all AFC youth national team competitions throughout this timeframe.
Qatar Airways will be sponsoring the AFC Champions LeagueTM 2023/24 Knockout Stage and three upcoming major AFC club competitions starting from the 2024/25 season: the AFC Champions League Elite, AFC Women’s Champions League, and the AFC Champions League 2.

Qatar achieved a momentous win in the previous AFC Asian Cup competition held in 2019. As the host country for the upcoming AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023TM, scheduled from January 12th to February 10th, 2024, Qatar is ready to receive supporters from all over the continent. Throughout the tournament, the B12 Beach Club, situated in Doha’s dynamic West Bay district and owned by Qatar Airways Group, will serve as the ultimate destination for both local and international fans to enjoy live screenings, music performances, and a variety of events.
This partnership deal will be managed by Asia Football Group (AFG), the AFC’s commercial agency for 2023-2028.
