The new venture will produce a new series of amateur baseball showcases: the PG/Dynamic College Series. Held on many of the country’s most respected college campuses, these tournaments provide ample opportunity for these young athletes to perform for college scouts in competitive, collegiate settings.
The PG/Dynamic College Series will debut in 2025 with 12-16 events, of which 11 have already been committed to Division I college campuses and venues surrounding the college campuses, giving young athletes the chance to compete at the best venues, to grow, and become visible.
Perfect Game CEO Rob Ponger : “The vibe is electric because the partnership will raise the bar in the industry, and we will serve the demand for campus-based events. Great to see that through combining the resources from both camps, they can present more opportunities to players, teams, and communities throughout the country.”.
Dynamic Baseball, headed by Jeff Petty, its CEO, has a history of providing top-notch events on campuses for 30 years. With 18 years of experience under his belt, Petty can’t wait for this series to branch out into more areas and, hopefully impact the landscape of youth baseball in a positive way. He talked about his regard for Perfect Game and what this partnership will mean for mutual opportunities in amateur baseball.
Both Perfect Game and Dynamic Baseball, which have expansion plans beyond 2025, feel confident the PG/Dynamic College Series will be a keystone of youth baseball showcases along with the Showcase Workout Series in the years to come.
