The Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) has established a formal partnership with Travel Unity, a non-profit organization focused on promoting diversity in the travel and tourism sectors through the empowerment of individuals and communities. This collaboration is formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) finalized in January 2025, which spans a duration of two years.
The MOU underscores a mutual dedication to creating a more inclusive, accessible, and equitable tourism industry while encouraging sustainable development throughout the Asia Pacific region.
Through this partnership, PATA and Travel Unity will collaborate on a range of initiatives, which will include the joint promotion of events and activities, opportunities for reciprocal speaking engagements, and exclusive advantages for their members. These advantages will encompass discounts, early bird offers, and enhanced assistance in connecting with qualified buyers.
