Norse Atlantic Airways Moves to JFK’s New Terminal 6 in 2026

Norse Atlantic Airways announced the signing of a letter of intent to commence operations at the new state-of-the-art Terminal 6 (T6) at John F. Kennedy International Airport, set to commence in 2026.

Terminal 6 is a vital element of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey’s $19 billion initiative to transform John F. Kennedy International Airport into a premier global gateway. This project includes the construction of two new terminals, the expansion and modernization of two existing terminals, a new ground transportation center, and a completely redesigned roadway network.

Recently recognized as the 15th largest airline operating at JFK airport, Norse Atlantic currently provides nonstop service from JFK Terminal 7 to destinations such as Athens, Berlin, London Gatwick, Oslo, Paris, and Rome, utilizing its advanced Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, which features both Economy Class and Premium cabins. Established in 2021, Norse Atlantic initiated its operations from JFK Terminal 7 with a single daily flight to London Gatwick in 2023 and has since significantly expanded its offerings, now providing up to six daily flights to major European destinations during the peak summer season of 2024.

Starting in 2026, passengers traveling with Norse Atlantic will be among the first to enjoy the digital-first, boutique experience at T6, which boasts an average walking time of less than five minutes from the TSA security checkpoint to all gates.
