No Witchcraft at the New NH Maldives Kuda Resort

There is no danger of witchcraft at the first NH Hotel planned to open after the country arrested a State minister for witchcraft in the Republic of Maldives on September 1, 2024.

The NH Maldives Kuda Rah Resort will be open for business on September 1 this year. This is the first Known for reasonable rates and a solid trustworthy hotel product, the Spanish-based NH Hotels is now part of Minor Hotels, an international hotel owner, operator, and investor headquartered in Bangkok, Thailand, with more than 550 hotels in over 55 countries across Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Africa, the Indian Ocean, Europe, and the Americas.

Kudah Rah Resort is located in Maldives South Ari Atoll, approximately 25 minutes by seaplane from the capital Malé. NH Maldives Kuda Rah will add to the list of an increasing number of beach, diving, and snorkeling resorts in this Muslim Indian Ocean island nation.

The small resort island NH Maldives Kuda Rah Resort is built on has a pool, 51 villas and suites, a spa, a restaurant, and a bar.

Maldives is an island nation and relies on tourism, but is threatened by climate change, so overtourism has become a pressing issue.

The resort caters to a wide range of interests, but witchcraft will not be on the agenda. Just a month ago the Maldives’ state minister for environment, climate change, and energy, Fathimath Shamnaz Ali Saleem, was taken into custody and imprisoned due to allegations of practicing witchcraft and casting black magic spells against the country’s president Mohamed Muizzu.
