Destination Toronto has officially announced the appointment of Kelly Jackson as the Vice President of Destination Development, effective January 20, 2025.
Kelly most recently occupied the role of Vice President for External Affairs and Professional Learning at Humber Polytechnic, one of the largest higher education institutions in Canada. Before her tenure at Humber, Kelly held various positions within the Ontario Government, including Director of Communications for the Minister of Finance, Director of Policy for the Minister of Education, and Senior Policy Advisor to the Minister of Training, Colleges and Universities.
Kelly has previously served as President of the Empire Club of Canada, one of the nation’s oldest and most prominent forums for speakers, featuring leading thinkers and leaders from Canada’s civic and corporate sectors. She remains active on the Board as Co-Chair of the Nation Builder Award Selection Committee and Chair of the Nominating Committee. Additionally, Kelly serves as a director on the board of the North York Harvest Food Bank.
