After nearly 22 years with Airbus SE, including the last 12 years as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and a member of the Airbus Executive Committee, Thierry Baril is set to depart from the European aerospace giant in 2025.
Today, Airbus SE announced that Carmen-Maja Rex has been names as the company’s new Chief Human Resources Officer, effective April 1, 2025.
In her new capacity, Carmen-Maja Rex will serve as a member of the Executive Committee and will report directly to Airbus CEO Guillaume Faury.
Currently, Carmen-Maja Rex holds the position of Human Resources Group Director at Heidelberg Materials, a leading global manufacturer of building materials and solutions.
