New Resort Manager at Barnsley Resort

Manny Belete has been appointed the resort manager of North Georgia’s award-winning Barnsley Resort, operated by Davidson Resorts. In this role, Belete will provide strategic leadership and oversee operations of Barnsley Resort’s 140 guest rooms and suites spread out among the 55-room Inn and 39 free-standing cottages, The Spa, resort recreation, and on-site food and beverage.

With over 20 years of experience at world-class resort destinations, Belete joins the Barnsley Resort team from Camp Creek Inn & Golf Club in Watersound, Florida, where he served as general manager. Prior to that, he was the club house manager at Mid Ocean Club in St. George’s, Bermuda, the director of food & beverage at Bakers Bay Golf and Ocean Club in Great Guana Cay, Bahamas, and the general manager of the Bull & Bear restaurant at Waldorf Astoria in Orlando, Florida. Additionally, Belete acted as club house manager at Palmetto Bluff Club, Bluffton, South Carolina, and the director of restaurants & outlets (Georgian Room) at Sea Island Resorts in Sea Island, Georgia.

Belete has had a dynamic career to date, seamlessly mastering the hospitality field. He is eager to step into this role and use his knowledge of leading and inspiring teams at award-wining resorts and restaurants to help elevate Barnsley Resort.
