The Pierre NY, A Taj Hotel is pleased to announce the appointment of Jae Kim as the Director of Restaurants within its Food & Beverage team. In this role, Jae will report to both The Pierre NY Hotel General Manager and the Hotel Manager, overseeing the fine dining operations of the establishment.
Jae will be tasked with the planning and management of all facets of Perrine, the Rotunda, patio dining, and in-room dining services, while also ensuring that guest service standards are upheld on a daily basis, with a strong emphasis on guest satisfaction.
He will collaborate closely with the Executive Chef to develop strategic initiatives for the Food & Beverage division at The Pierre, implementing innovative programs designed to enhance restaurant performance and uphold the exceptional standards that define The Pierre.
With extensive experience in luxury hotel dining, Jae joins The Pierre from his recent position on the senior management team at the Mark Restaurant by Jean-Georges. His previous roles include leadership positions in Food & Beverage at prestigious hotels such as the Baccarat and the Loews Regency.
