New Chair at IHG Owners Association Global Board of Directors

The IHG Owners Association announced the selection of Mark Zipperer as the Chair of its Global Board of Directors for the year 2025. Zipperer serves as the President and CEO of Pride Hospitality, LLC, located in Germantown, Tennessee, a company he established in 1998 to manage three hotels he developed in Sheboygan and Brown Deer, Wisconsin. Currently, Pride Hospitality oversees a diverse portfolio of hotels affiliated with most major brands.

A veteran in the hospitality industry, Zipperer commenced his career in 1982 as a management trainee at the Holiday Inn South in Milwaukee and the Holiday Inn Lake Shore Drive in Chicago. Over the years, he has occupied various corporate executive positions, including the role of Director of Franchise Services for the Central U.S. and Latin America at IHG. Zipperer’s extensive engagement with the Association dates back to 1997, and he rejoined the Global Board of Directors in 2020 after a prior six-year tenure. He has also chaired the Americas Regional Council as well as the Technology, Holiday Inn Express, and Operations Committees.
