Budapest Airport has announced the introduction of the inaugural direct flight route connecting Kuwait and Hungary.
This new service, operated by Jazeera Airways, will link Budapest and Kuwait City twice a week, commencing on June 5 and continuing until September 25, 2025.
Utilizing the airline’s state-of-the-art Airbus A320, which accommodates 174 passengers, this route establishes Kuwait City as the seventh Middle Eastern destination served by Budapest Airport, joining the ranks of Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Israel, Jordan, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia.
This marks Jazeera Airways’ first operation at Budapest Airport. The new route is anticipated to enhance travel opportunities not only from Kuwait but also from India, thereby strengthening Budapest’s role as a gateway to the Middle East and beyond.
