London Heathrow Greets All Holiday Flights with Live Choir

London’s Heathrow Airport has announced that it is expecting a record-breaking Holiday Season, with 7 million passengers projected to travel through the UK’s main air hub. This number represents a 21% increase in Heathrow passenger numbers on Christmas Day compared to previous years.

This Christmas season, Heathrow Airport is boosting the festive spirit with a live choir in the Arrivals area, welcoming travelers returning home for the holidays. Throughout December, a choir comprising over 20 singers will fill the arrivals halls of all four terminals with uplifting carols, personalized messages, and multilingual holiday greetings.

The Northants Sings Out choir, which reached the finals of Britain’s Got Talent this year, will bring the sounds of the season to Heathrow’s terminals. In addition to traditional carols and modern holiday tunes, they will incorporate a global flair by performing festive greetings in the languages of Heathrow’s most frequented Christmas destinations, including Arabic, French, Mandarin, Turkish, Spanish, and Gaelic.
