London Heathrow Airport, one of the largest airports in the world is closed and will be closed all day, Friday, March 21.
The loss to airlines from around the globe and the inconvenience to travelers flying into and out of London or transiting in London will be tremendous.
Due to a fire at an electrical substation supplying the airport, Heathrow is experiencing a significant power outage.
To maintain the safety of our passengers and colleagues, Heathrow will be closed until 23:59 on 21 March.
