Singapore native Liz Ortiguera has been the CEO of the Pacific Asia Travel Association ( PATA) CEO since June 2021.
After her controversial resignation, which involved legal suits, Liz joined the World Travel and Tourism Council in June/July 2023.
Usually, in the spotlight, it has been silent about Liz for a while. Her LinkedIn profile with her WTTC job was deleted, and eTurboNews was told by a reliable source that she left WTTC quietly after a relatively short career. The reason is only up to speculation. Her profile on the WTTC website is still present, but her resume was deleted.

She was a top advisor to the WTTC CEO and in charge of Asia-Pacific Membership. WTTC is often seen as an organization representing the private sector in the global travel and tourism industry. Smaller and medium-sized companies are not among its members, but the goal is to have the 200 largest companies in the world as members. WTTC is mainly concentrating on generating reports that many in the global travel and tourism industry refer to for data.

In her resume, Liz Ortiguera describes herself as a senior executive with over 25 years of global experience and expertise in general management, marketing, business development, and partner network management. She is passionate about innovation, business transformation, and community building.
