Pakistan‘s Defense Minister, Anwar Ali Haider, expressed commitment to enhancing cooperation with Iran. This cooperation aims to combat terrorism and manage the shared borders of the two neighboring nations.
Haidar made the comment on Thursday. He was in a meeting with Iran’s Ambassador to Islamabad, Reza Amiri Moghaddam. This information was provided in a press release by the Public Relations Office of Pakistan’s Defense Ministry.
The Pakistani official reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening ties with Iran and emphasized that Pakistan has taken necessary steps to manage borders, combat terrorism, and address criminal activities. Additionally, Haidar expressed gratitude for Iran’s ongoing support and praised the enduring and close relationship between the two nations, highlighting their historical and fraternal connections.
