MIAMI, Florida – International trade and customs law firm Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg, PA (ST&R) announced today that Miami-based attorney Lenny Feldman will expand his leadership role in the trade community through positions with two influential organizations on local, national and international levels.

US Customs and Border Protection Commissioner R. Gil Kerlikowske, after receiving confirmation from the secretaries of the Treasury and Homeland Security, has named Feldman to a two-year term as a member of the federal Advisory Committee on Commercial Operations of CBP (commonly referred to as COAC). COAC is a 20-member committee that advises the departments of Homeland Security, Treasury and other government agencies on matters such as import enforcement and procedures, export controls, automation of federal agency operations, product safety, the role of customs brokers, and supply chain security issues, including development of the C-TPAT and Trusted Trader programs.
