Hard Rock Hotel Daytona Beach GM Named Business Leader of Year

Androse Bell, general manager of Hard Rock Hotel Daytona Beach, was recognized as this year’s Business Leader of the Year during the annual Scholarship and Awards Banquet hosted by Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration for Florida, Inc. on Thursday, Jan. 16. The event recognized Bell for his inspiration and professional achievement, and for his success in securing the AAA Four-Diamond status for Hard Rock Hotel Daytona Beach.

A graduate of Bethune-Cookman University, Bell has served as general manager of Hard Rock Hotel Daytona Beach for the past two years, overseeing day-to-day operations and the (225-member) rock star team. A familiar face in the Central Florida hospitality industry, Bell was originally hired by the hotel as director of rooms in 2017. Prior to joining Hard Rock Hotel Daytona Beach, Bell was the manager of the DoubleTree Suites by Hilton, a 207-room, all-suite property in Melbourne Beach, Florida.  Before the DoubleTree, he spent four years at the four-diamond oceanfront Shores Resort & Spa in Daytona Beach Shores, where he held several positions, the final one being director of rooms. In addition to a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Bell also holds a master’s degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing from Keiser University. He has also completed management training programs with Starwood Hotels & Resorts.

Opened in May 2018, the Hard Rock Hotel Daytona Beach has taken center stage along the Atlantic shoreline beachfront hotel and as the fourth Hard Rock Hotel in Florida.
