Golden Heaven Group Holdings Ltd. (Nasdaq: GDHG), a leading Chinese owner of recreational amusement parks, released today that it would postpone the launch of its new recreation and amusement complex in Yunhe Sanwan Scenic Spot, Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province. This was originally scheduled to open in October 2024, but now the Complex is scheduled to open around the Spring Festival in January 2025.
The company said that the delay provided enough lead-time for the assimilation of other upgrades, which include new functions and improvements. Equipment installation and continuous construction were also considered in delaying because this would have to be applied in a manner that Complex meets safety and quality standards.
Located in a tourist zone, the Complex is intended to attract families, couples, and visitors alike, and to combine enjoyment, culture, and a very good experience. According to the CEO, Jin Xu, the delay would only give Golden Heaven a chance to better align the Complex with industry tendencies and consumer expectations, thus making it attractive to many.
Jin Xu also indicated that hosting events during Chinese New Year had many advantages, given extremely high visitation numbers projected during the festival period. That objective was the creation of long-term value through stimulating local tourism and benefitting local suppliers, which made the Complex a regional destination hub.
