Ghost Tequila published a Perfectly Spicy Obituary that the death of the Regular Margarita was officially publicized in the Boston Herald on September 30th. Social media outlets expanded on the news circulated by Spicy Squad’s head, Jackie Schimmel spilling the beans of death with great flavor signature Ghost-like. The spicy squad members are Jenny Gorelick and Krissy Bets.
On Wednesday, 9 October, Ghost Tequila brought the “fun” to funeral with a special farewell to the Margarita. The party was high-energy, full of vibrancy one would expect from a Day of the Dead tribute. Christine Wiseman, the newest Altos Bartenders’ Bartender Award winner in 2023 and Global Beverage Director of Bar Lab Hospitality, led the charge by serving Perfectly Spicy Margaritas to toast the occasion.

Recipe of the Perfectly Spicy Margarita:
- 1.5 oz Ghost Tequila
- 0.5 oz Agave Nectar
- 0.75 oz Lime Juice (to taste)
Salt Rim & Lime Garnish
Instructions:
Measure and pour all ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Fill the shaker with ice. Shake vigorously. Strain into ice-filled, Tajin Salt Rim glass. Garnish with lime wedge.
Absolutely Perfectly Spicy Marigold Margarita Recipe:
- 1.5oz Ghost Tequila
- 0.5oz Alma Finca
- 1oz fresh lime juice
- 0.5oz marigold infused agave
- 0.5oz blood orange juice
Dried marigold salt rim Instructions: Mix all ingredients in tin and shake with ice. Strain in rocks glass with marigold salt rim. Add fresh ice and garnish with fresh marigold.
