Gabon and Seychelles talk about joint tourism participation

Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Tourism & Culture Minister, welcomed Annie Blondel, the Tourism Advisor to the President of Gabon, at the Ministry of Tourism & Culture Offices at the National Cultural Centre in Victoria.

Mrs. Blondel and Minister St.Ange had previously met in Libreville, Gabon, when the Minister visited Libreville at the invitation of the government of Gabon. At the Victoria meeting, Mrs. Blondel and Minister St.Ange continued discussions on Gabon’s participation at the 2013 Carnaval International de Victoria and on the Seychelles Tourism Academy’s ability in welcoming hospitality and tourism students from Gabon.

Mrs. Annie Blondel also visited the Seychelles Tourism Academy at La Misere where she met with Mr. Flavien Joubert, the Principal of the school, before being hosted to a working lunch attended by her husband Pierre Blondel and Benjamine Rose, the PS for Culture; Elsia Grandcourt, CEO for the Seychelles Tourism Board; Raymonde Onezime, the Minister’s Special Advisor; and Bernadette Honore, the Head of the Ministry’s News Bureau.
