JFK Millennium Partners (JMP), the entity appointed by the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey to construct and manage the new state-of-the-art Terminal 6 (T6) at John F. Kennedy International Airport, has announced in collaboration with ultra-low-cost carrier Frontier Airlines that Frontier will establish its operations at T6.
With this announcement, Frontier becomes the 13th international airline to choose T6 as its operational base at JFK, joining the ranks of Air Canada, Aer Lingus, ANA, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Condor, JetBlue Airways, Kuwait Airways, Lufthansa, Norse, and SWISS, as the terminal is set to welcome passengers in 2026.
Terminal 6 plays a crucial role in the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey’s $19 billion initiative to transform JFK International Airport into a premier global gateway. This project includes the construction of two new terminals, the expansion and modernization of two existing terminals, the establishment of a new ground transportation center, and the development of a completely redesigned and streamlined roadway network.
